Our Cake Range
I always start a cake with my trusted mixing bowl. Each and every cake is made from scratch and bespoke to the brief my customer has requested.
Cakes can be created for all occasions and in all shapes and sizes! Including Riding Stables and a Noah’s Ark, but everything begins with a bowl, scales and of course my mixer.
These are the most popular flavours and of course there are many variations on the fillings suggested.
Our flavours
Very Vanilla
Traditional, tried and tested and an all-round customer favourite.
Vanilla sponge, filled with layers of smooth Madagascan buttercream and raspberry jam.
Lovely Lemon Drizzle
Generally adored by all, this fresh Citrus Sponge is universally popular.
Layers of of Lemon Sponge filled with Lemon Curd, Lemon Buttercream or White Chocolate Ganache.
Chocolate
Our best seller. Our mouth-watering chocolate sponge, filled with chocolate and vanilla buttercream.
If you fancy some Salted Caramel, we can add that too.
Lemon & Elderflower
Good enough for a Royal Wedding Cake and certainly a taste of summer!
Lemon infused Sponge with Elderflower buttercream.
Chocolate Orange
A great twist on our popular Chocolate Cake.
Flavoured with orange zest and orange juice then filled chocolate orange buttercream or dark chocolate ganache.
Cherry & Almond
Think classic Cherry Bakewell flavours, transported into a cake and there you have it.
Nostalgic and simply delicious, especially the almond buttercream.
Cookies & Cream
Layers of vanilla sponge and crushed cookies, filled with Oreo buttercream.
Decorated with Oreo and chocolate buttercream, chocolate drip and more cookies.
Red Velvet
This all-American favourite is very popular in my kitchen.
A wonderfully light red velvet cake filled with cream cheese or white chocolate buttercream.

Decoration & Finishing
Your cake can covered in buttercream and decorated with swirls, gold dusted chocolates and a number topper. I have even decoated a buttercream cake with hand made carrots! The options are endless.
OR
Each cake can then be covered in white, milk or dark chocolate ganache and encased in fondant.
It could then be decorated with hand made or fresh flowers, models or edible images. I have made a cheeseboard cake, a football and a golf bag, to name a view. You just let us know what you need and we will try to recreate it in sugar!
Pricing
Each and every cake is independently priced. This is because they are all completely different; some cakes are finished with ornate modelling or sugar flowers. Others are carefully carved to create an illusion and of course prices vary dependant on the size required.
All cakes are presented on a fondant covered cake board trimmed with satin ribbon. We also offer hand cut letters in a variety of fonts and large handmade numbers. All cakes are securely boxed and provided with storage and cutting instructions.
Prices start from £95 for a 6″ (6 inches = 15cm diameter) 3 layer sponge, covered in ganache and sugarpaste. This cake provides 20 portions.
Cupcakes start at £3.20 for a large cupcake with a buttercream swirl. We can provide cupcakes for birthday parties, baby showers or a new home. You just tell us what you would like and we will make it! Prices vary as to whether you need something simple, ornate cupcakes with decorative sugar creations or carefully piped 2 tone buttercream flowers.
For a little extra luxury, your cakes can be filled with jam, salted caramel, whipped chocolate ganache or lemon curd.
Cupcakes orders are in batches of 12 per flavour.

Allergies
We regularly make gluten free, nut free, egg free and dairy free cakes.
My baking journey was prompted by a friends little boy needing an egg free cake. However, I understand that you need to ask lots of questions and be confident that I can meet your requirements.
I do not operate a free from kitchen, but every effort is made to ensure my equipment and working area are as ‘free from’ as possible.
